Conan mentioned that Haibara looks like Mary when she put the mascara make up so they're probably related.
Remeber the small clues when Amuro first introduced, the mention of Bourbon and being. Then we can also assume that the author has some clues in this case as well, like Sera telling conan that Mary is her sister from outside domain and cona directly asking Haibara what that meant, even tho He could ask anyone

Absolutely love this Haibara focused ED (｡●́‿●̀｡) Especially the fact that it's all of HER moments, and none of the scenes between her and Conan as they're almost always HIS moments or their shared events as opposed to just her best scenes. My waifu, best waifu ❤️

While I do think her secret crush on Shin is cute, it's equally sad as it'll obviously never be reciprocated and I would love to see her be happy with someone else one day. I'm curious to know though, who do you think she could move on with? I absolutely love her crush over Higo but I feel like he is more of a celebrity crush and that’s it. She is also trapped in a child body which makes things even more complicated for her. She can’t date kids nor adults. So this excludes Mitsu as well.

I don’t see any other possibility among the existing characters. I feel like Aoyama will give her an open ending where she ends up with no one leaving it up to the fan’s imagination.

I agree, celebrity crushes are sweet especially with how she reacts around Higo or when he's mentioned, but it couldn't ever happen. Her and Mitsuhiko would be cute together too, but the only way it could realistically be achieved is if the series somehow ends with Shin being returned to normal but Haibara isn't, meaning Haibara would grow up alongside Mitsuhiko and continue living as Ai instead of Shiho, possibly never telling him her life story until they're older. I can't say why, but I've always gotten the feeling that Ai won't be returned to normal, or that maybe now since she's lost her parents and sister, and she's had such a shady past already, she might genuinely choose to start over as Ai and try again. It does bring up a lot of moral questions like when is it suitable for her to start dating again, seeing as she's 8 years older than she appears to be and that's no small age gap, but I just hope she gets SOMEONE. I'm not a fan of series that have a character who's had zero love interests/relationships the entire time, only for them to end up with an unnamed partner in the ending or epilogue, and I'd normally even accept Haiabara staying single and leaving it open-ended, but almost every other character in this series either has a lover or at least had one. I could even see couples still being formed later for those who aren't in one, such as Amuro and Azusa

Hold up - Between 771 (6:25) and this ep, Mrs. Elena Miyano changed hair colour from Shiho's to Mary's, and voice from Suzuki Hiroko to none other than Shiho's (which is trippy! ☺️).

Elena was only voiced by Hiroko Suzuki in eps. 341-771. from there Megumi Hayashibara took over (eps. 953+). so yep, you're right... the role changed hands here.

Suzuki Hiroko while active for a longer period of time than Ms. Megumi ... is not a prolific anime VA. her filmography is mostly Japanese dubs of foreign films. her most recent credit i can find in anime is 'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' (2018) - White Snake Sage. previous to that all i can find recently is 2013 the same role in Naruto, and the Queen Vespaland, Sakura Aldia in the TV special 'Lupin III vs Detective Conan' 2009. she was born in 1944 so she's a bit long in the tooth hmm?

Nakamura Yuuichi yup. he's Atsushi's only VA ever. Atsushi's appearance in ep340 and ep953 are only similar in one way... they're both wearing glasses.
